Montana Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Dedicated November 11, 1988
IN HONOR OF THE 36,000 MONTANANS
WHO SERVED IN THE VIETNAM WAR
"IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO SAY THANKS"

A plaque at the memorial reads:

Together we flew to battle
Hearts and blades pounding
Sharing fear and pain

Parted, yet together
We faced the unknown
You death, I the future

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Missoula, Montana
is situated in a clean city park.
There are posted signs leading you to the park.
We had no trouble following them.
There is also a memorial garden and memorials
to veterans of each war/conflict since WWII.
The park honors all veterans.
